Remakes
from
fannish5:
Name five remakes that you think are better than the originals.
I don't think I can name five, but here you go:
1. Sabrina (I'm a sucker for Harrison Ford!)
2. The Thomas Crown Affair (Rene Russo - WOW!, and the soundtrack and that scene in the museum at the end and the sex scene between Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo - WOW!!!)
Yes, and that was about it.
I like Casablanca better than Havana and La Femme Nikita better than Point of No Return, I definitely prefer Hitchcock's Psycho, Dial M for Murder and Rear Window to their remakes and I think that it's ridiculous to produce a remake of Bella Martha (No Reservations, which I haven't seen yet, I admit that) when the 'original' is so good.
