You should really see Desperado. Just know that it's a persiflage on the genre of 'rugged, mysterious Mexicans getting into bar fights, but deep down have a heart of gold'-films. It's a persiflage, but I think Tarantino was way too subtle concerning that aspect. Speaking of Tarantino, you should also see Kill Bill: it's so incredibly weird that it's brilliant.
Fierce Creatures is great too (have you seen A Fish Called Wanda?)! The Dark Crystal has beautiful puppets, the whole scenery is gorgeous for that matter. It's by Jim Henson (before he created The Muppets).
And if you're into Johnny Depp you should definitely see Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, Sleepy Hollow and Chocolate (I believe that's in chronological order, though not sure about the first two).

Well, that's my good movie advise *insertaureole* for today. ;-)

Oh, I really want to see Kill Bill Vols 1 & 2, and I have hope I'll get to that soon... And I've heard a lot of good things about Fierce Creatures, so I might give it a shot as well.
I'm not much into Johnny Depp, but people keep telling me Chocolat is great.

I only wish I had a time turner, because I tend to watch movies I like a thousand times over... Leaves less time for new movies, of course. Time trouble. *frowns*
