New Bed (Well, Parts Of It) Today!!!

take_this_waltzToday, the first parts of our new bed (we bought it right after New Year), the mattresses and the slatted frames [according to LEO that's the proper terminus technicus *shrugs*] will be delivered!!
We decided to buy a new bed late last year (and to give it to each other as our Christmas gifts), because the one we have now is old, old, old... We've been sleeping in it for nearly 13 years, and since it was s gift from a friend, we assume it's appr. 20 years old. Time for a new one, especially for new mattresses, we thought!
So, we went to the furniture store resp. to 2,5 different ones (which my husband detests with a hot, burning passion) and - voilá! Today: first part!
Second part (the actual frame): thursday.
Will post report on the construction disaster (aka us trying to set it up) and pics of the new bed then.
Okay, time for work. Will leave husband (who just got up and is still so insanely cute / tired *giggles* and his hair is still so very cute / messed up from sleeping *HEARTS*!!!!) to his fate and the furniture guys.
