Nostalgia

- the definitive certainty that mellacita knew something that could have proven everything (which, btw, I'm still waiting for to be revealed (and probably always shall be)... ;-) )

- "I crossed five oceans [or was it "four seas"?? I should really look at the pics again...] for a blacksmith son of a pirate!"

- a black v-neck sweater

- the pattern in my icon


A few years back I spent a lot of my spare time with people to whom all of the above mentioned (and many, many more) expressions, things and facts meant something. You know, like a code. You know, like a key. You know, like: One word/thing/picture tells a whole story.

I somehow miss those times. But it's nice to remember them, too. :-)

OMG I love this post ! so true! I keep searching for this feeling in my new fandom, but it's so different. i guess it's true what they say, you can never go back...
oh and btw I so get what you're saying about mellacita lol! ;) Mel disappointed us all in the end :p

Those were wonderful times and as mellacita said, they may be in the past now but they are fondly remembered. As are all the people we had fun with. :)

I remember saying to my mother (of all people!) the other week that though I may not still believe that the present is the same as the past, I know what I know and have my proof and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.

Drive by *hugs*! ... & yes, those were the days. :) I'm not sure how I had the time to participate in fandom even to the extent that I did (which was MINOR), but I sure had fun. But the best thing is still being in contact with at least a few of the people I enjoyed hanging out with (at least virtually.)
